John Dau visit-supports 7th grade Africa curriculum. Students watch the film, “God Grew Tired of Us”, starring Jon Dau and other Lost Boys of Sudan. Students also read John Dau’s book, “Lost Boy, Lost Girl”. Dau presents his story in the auditorium and then works in small groups with students for the rest of the day.

Welcome to the 2025-2026 PTA grants & supply reimbursement program! 

Please read carefully & note some key changes for this year.

 

I. PTA Grants range from $200 and up to $4,500 and can be allocated for a classroom, school club / activity (new this year!), or program for the benefit of the entire school.

 

Simple Online Process

  • We have a new online form for all grant applications

  • This new form is simple to complete and will enable us to more easily review & track applications, increase timeliness and reduce errors.

  • If you have any questions about how to access or use the form please email Kate Steiner or Christen Davis 

  • Important Reminders

  • All grant requests should reviewed in advance with Principal Meg Tiley to ensure alignment with goals and to leverage all available funding sources.

  • Preference is given to PTA Members, annual faculty membership is just $15. Click here to join today!

  • Once you receive and spend your grant, please send photos and stories to Megan Pritchard rlmsptapresident@gmail.com for inclusion in our newsletter, website and in fundraising efforts for next year!

 

II. Annual Supply Reimbursements are available to all Full Time Teachers. 

 

- PTA members are eligible to be reimbursed for classroom supplies / out of pocket expenses up to $75/year 

- Non-members are eligible for up to $50/year. Annual faculty membership is just $15. Click here to join today!

The PTA's largest and most impactful role is providing grants

to teachers, staff and school clubs to enrich the middle school experience.

    • Needs include an extra AED (defibrillator) machine for the nurse’s office, remarkable guest speakers for social studies, VR goggles and support for guest speakers in world languages, field trips cool opportunities for our art teachers & students, music equipment, a glossy lit magazine printing and support for a new sensory space that will help student’s social emotional well-being.
