RLMS PTA HALLOWEEN WALKATHON!

 

Happy Spooky Season!

We are officially launching our annual Walkathon, which raises the largest portion of the PTA funds. Last year we were able to exceed our goal of $30,000 so we are setting our sights on the same goal! We have a really fun filled event planned with prizes for homerooms that raise the most funds, a costume contest and a spoooooooky haunted track!

 

This fundraiser is a vital part of what the PTA does at RLMS. The majority of the money we raise in the Walkathon goes directly back into the school in the form of grants. A few of the grants we awarded in 2023-2024 school year included:

  • Over 15 sets of VR goggles to use throughout the school
  • A cyclorama curtain for the drama club, band and orchestra
  • Four plaques and the engraving of students' achievements in Music
  • Materials for aromatherapy sachets, diet cuts and tools for quilting and sewing
  • Publication of the Ludlow Light literary magazine featuring some of the student's amazing poetry
  • World travel speaker, Spanish children's books and authentic Spanish materials

Just to name a few...

These funds also go towards end of year celebrations and field trips for 8th graders!

In order to get to our goal we are asking each student to raise at least $50. This can be just you giving or having your student ask trusted neighbors, family and friends! Here's how you can give!
